GAh! can't wait till Kung Fu Shuffle comes out, it looks really awsome. :)

Gonna go tomorrow and get a new camera that I've been dying to upgrade to this http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml;jsessionid=SDPXCF4ZDI5SPFW4FAKHWD2W1YUEE4L4?pq-path=6723&pq-locale=en_US&_requestid=7430
It's such an awsome digital camera, and NITZ on you who don't like my choice because it's Kodak. I'm not sure why but I've talked with some furs who treat cameras like they do OSes, they get all religious and stuff. If I don't buy Olympus or whatever their current favorite is then I'm buying crap. I went and tried the camera out in the store and it was way better then any of the others I got to try out. From it's LCD setup, to how the buttons are layed out, to how teh menus are situated and even how it has alot of features like a regular SLR.

Soon as I get everythign backed up on my HD's and reinstall the OS, I'll be able to install Photoshop and show you all the photos I took in Pennsylvania and the drawings I drew.

*giggle* found this site linked through another site, apparently it has various Christian groups all in a huff. Some of it's inflamatory but there's some good humor material here.

I am thankful for having an internet connection that works when I come home, I'll try not to take it for granted anymore. :) I'm going to start backing up all my furry art and everything else then install the new HD then basically install everything fresh on the two 160 gig hard drives I have now thanks to Wolph and Sheppard :) It'll be wonderful having all that space to store stuff on.

Plans are definite now for Anthrocon, I have the time off from work so now I'll just ponder if there'll be any plans to make for the con itself. I really feel it's too late to get art ready for the con but it's very tempting. I just don't feel like my name is recognizeable enough that anyone would buy my stuff. that's mostly because I never really have much confidence in my abilities I know. It also harkens back to when I started attending furry cons and I used to go to all the trouble of getting art in teh art show and nothign would sell. I feel like just doing what I'm comfortable with, drawing in people's sketchbooks. Least I know I can get commissions in Second Life to build avatars for people, I feel accomplished. Selling art in a convention artshow doesn't do much for my ego. I've watched art shows from the various cons I go to and I've seen it's usually only the very visible artists that sell their stuff for decent prices, everyone else usually is lucky if htey can get their bare minimum bid price. Well, excluding those furs who're very accomplished artists and can create amazing masterpieces. That's just not me.

Gah! what a night. Everythign was working just fine on Tuesday only for me to come home Wednesday night to find no matter what I did I couldn't get my computer to connect to the internet through the router. I practically went nuts and got really depressed to the point that I had to lay down and close my eyes to calm myself down. Fortunately I picked up on teh fact that Raechel was also having alot of problems connecting so Cindi called Comcast and found it's a company wide problem. Everything is backup now and I'm just waiting for someone to send me a windows 2000 disc so I can install my Win XP update.

Roo bouncies around and hugs all his friends. I made it back safely from the Baltimore, MD airport, the flight itself was uneventful. I'm really hating small planes/jets with a passion as they're such a bad experience but American Airlines has a very nice fleet of express jets for local travel.

Many thanks go to Snuggems and Wolfcub for letting me stay at their house and drive me around at times. Especially getting to go the wildlife reserve up near Gettysburg, MD, which had lots of animals though was seemingly in the middle of major repairs. I got to see roos though and they were even adventurous enough to come up near teh fence and curiously sniff Snuggems and myself. There were three young adult female reds, a full adult male red, and two joeys which I couldn't tell if they were female or male. I really have to brush back up on kangaroo knowledge and how to tell the two genders apart besides genitalia.

Got a little drawing done but mostly was just playing a racing game on Snuggem's Gamecube and browsing the internet.

Glad to finally get access again to Second Life :) Will have a commission to work on for Shaun Reveal.

Well, finally got the bad hard drive out of my system, it was the oldest one, I think I had it like 8 years. It was barely working enough to let me save some files off it before it was getting horrible. When I yanked it out I could shake it next to my ear and hear things rattling around inside. Lost all my e-mail, bookmarks, and anything on my desktop which included a bunch of addreses.

Down to two hard drives but I got a friend sending me a hard drive so it shouldn't be too bad. I'll have to reload the OS though when Spotteh sends me a Win 2000 disc he has laying around. I prefer to run a legal OS if I can, just can't afford Win XP pro full edition right now, though I have a legal copy of WinXP Pro upgrade.

Will take me a while to track down all those webpages I used to frequent.

Erf...so the computer had been making funny noises once in a while, talked with friends and they suggested it was the RAM though in the back of my head I kinda thought it was the hard drive by the sounds it was making. Just this morning the main hard drive died. I tried doing a reinstall of Windows but realized that I only had Windows XP upgrade and at some time I got it through my head to throw away my old Win98SE CD because I'd never need it. *gahhhhhh* So luckily I had purchased this secondary computer so that I could encode video while I was playing on my main computer as well as maybe use this computer to browse the internet while I'm in Second Life. Still have to decide what I got to do, gonna ask around if anyone has a Win98SE/2000 CD I can use to install WinXP professional. I have two hard drives still left on my main machine though so I should be able to switch one HD to become the main HD and install windows on that. Hate that I lost a bunch of e-mail and bookmarks though. Hopefully with a little bit of work things should come out okay.

Sure glad that (Dr?) James Dobson is such a retard to represent Christianity with such intelligence. It's shameful on the religion itself that Christians haven't arleady asked him in mass to stop being such a lout and start being more of a Christian.

Just got reminded in the opinion column of the Boston Globe about another aspect of why the Republican party is evil (slightly exaggerating for effect), their constant need to kill not only Amtrak but alot of the commuter rail programs in this country. I assume it's because they're so wonderfully funded by the oil and automobile industries but our country has one of the worst rail systems of any developed country.
